SEG Graduates Reunion BBQ Poem
As the sun began to set
The tents were up,
The scent of burning charcoal could be smelled from afar.
Music and Laughter filled the air.
The atmosphere was perfect.
Everyone was excited...
13 December 2008,
The day we welcomed our SEG graduates.
An inaugural event held for the SEG graduates at the East Coast Park.
The time was around 5pm as we greeted our first guest.
One after another they arrived, as we welcomed them back.
Soon the place was crowded.
The experience was unbelievably fun as we sat and chatted with friends from the same school as ours whom we had not seen since their graduation.
Then, I realized how much I missed them.
We mingled, we joked, and we laughed.
The aroma of the barbequed food filled the air.
The food was aplenty and the drink was flowing.
One of the most memorable moments was the celebratory toast to all SEGians
Whose birthdays were in the month of December
Laughter could be heard from afar...
Hi was exchanged;
Bye was rarely heard;
But as night slowly darkened
People started giving kisses,
Hugs and promises
And they took a step backward
With smiles on their faces
As they bided farewell
We shall meet again one fine day...
